In Ukraine, the drones that matter most don’t come from distant factories. Soldiers assemble, modify and improve them close to the front, in days. What fails is fixed. What works is copied.
Europe’s armies need that speed. They also need what a workshop alone can’t give them: qualified components, traceability, safety, and the ability to produce in volume when it counts.
